- Do I need to be a member to use the Range?
- Nope! The Cowlitz Public Shooting Range (CPSR) is a public range for the public. The range is NOT a private club with membership and waiting lists to get in.
- When are you open?
- The range is open Tues thru Sundays (we patch up holes on Mondays).
- Whats the cost?
- The Daily cost is $15 to shoot rifle and/or pistol.
- You can buy an annual pass for $150.
- No charge for Active Duty Military or Disabled Vets.
- Kids 12 and younger are free.
- Where is the range located?
- The CPSR is off of exit 52 on I-5:
- Take exit 52 toward Toutle Park Rd (East)
- Turn or continue East onto Old Pacific Hwy
- Turn left onto Burma Rd
- Turn right onto Toutle Park Rd
- Continue 0.9 mi. to the end of Toutle Park Rd
- The CPSR is off of exit 52 on I-5:
- What do I need to do to be able to shoot at the range?
- First you must pay the daily fees
- Then you need to watch the ‘Safety Briefing Video’ (its about 14min long)
- Next you will need to sign the Range’s electronic ‘Safety Waiver’
- Once those last 2 are done, the RSOs on duty will give you a ‘CPSR Safety Briefing Completion’ card.
- What do I need to bring?
- You need to bring:
- your firearm(s)
- the correct ammo for your firearm(s)
- hearing and eye protection (normal glasses are OK for eye protection)(We do have a limited supply of eye/ear protection you can use if you forget yours).
- targets (we do sell targets for $1-$2 each)
