Scoped Rifle Clinic Saturday, September 24, 2022 9:00 a.m.

Cowlitz Firearm Training and On Target Outdoors will hold a free class and clinic on telescopic rifle sights. We will cover the fundamentals of selecting, mounting, zeroing and use of telescopic sights. Topics will include fixed vs. variable power scopes, first and second plane reticles, MOA vs. Milrad systems, the importance of proper mounting and eye relief, bullet drop compensating scopes, parallax effect, zeroing of sights and other factors.

We will also be available to provide direct assistance in sighting in your rifle. The class will be held at the Cowlitz Public Shooting Range, 1000 Toutle Park Road, Castle Rock, WA 98611. Take Exit 52 east from I-5 to Burma Road, then follow the sign to the end of Toutle Park Road. There is no charge for the class. Regular range fees and requirements will apply for shooting.

No reservation required, just show up for the class.
